We have all got things to do everyday. We have got away of togetherness and and we sometimes talk a little to freely. I liked this. Taking Time to Talk and Listen April 2012 Ensign

How to deal.
I have a question for you sisters. When problems come your way what do you do? Pray and seek guidance for sure but what steps do you take to make it better? Big or small. I know that there are troubles in the world today and there are daily struggles we each deal with. Lets help sisters that are in need and may not know how to come out and ask for it!

"You are a part of this special generation. It is not by chance that you are here at this important time in the history of the Lord's work. It is your opportunity to declare this message of the Restoration with greater force and effect than any of the previous generations."
I really like this one! I have always be leaved that I am here for a reason. People walk in to your life at the right time that you need them too and that everything happens at the very moment that its suppose to and not a moment too soon! I encourage you all to stay strong in your daily struggles you may be facing and always look to Heavenly Father for the answers!

Parable of the Popcorn
Ok so I come across some really cute and awesome things from time to time. I found this folded up in one of Sister Shirley Smiths books I was given. Hope you all like it!
Parable of the Popcorn
Behold at the time of harvest, the ears of the corn did bring forth kernels which were dried and prepared for the Popper's hand. And then it was that the Popper did take the kernels, all that did appear alike unto Him, and applied the oil and the heat.
And it came to pass that when the heat was on, some did explode with promise and did magnify themselves an hundred fold. And some did burst forth with whiteness which did both gladden the eye and satisfy the taste of the Popper. And likewise some did pop, but not too much. Behold, there were some that did lie there, and even though the Popper's heat was alike unto all, some did just bask in the oil and keep everything that they had unto themselves.
And so it came to pass that those which had given of themselves did bring forth much joy and delight to many munchers. But those which kept of the warmth and did not bring forth were only cast into the pail and thought of with hardness and disguast.
And thus we see that in the beginning all appear alike, but when the heat is on some come forth and give all, while others fail their purpose and become as chaff, so as to be discarded and forgotten.
So as I read this I sit and I wonder am I the kernel that will just sit there and not pop under the heat or will I burst and pop the way that He would like me to?

"Tolerance obviously requires a noncontentious manner of relating toward one another's differences. But tolerance does not require abandoning one's standards or one's opinions on political or public policy choices. Tolerance is a way of reacting to diversity, not a command to insulate it from examination."

"I am convinced that missionary work is not easy because salvation is not a cheap experience. Salvation never was easy. We are the Church of Jesus Christ, this is the truth, and He is our Great Eternal Head. How could we believe it would be easy for us when it was never, ever easy for Him?"

So what is it that we can gain from this message? We are women so we are thinkers! Heavenly Father sent his son to the earth to set a pathway for us. It is a wonderful feeling that we are here to learn, live, and become righteous children so we can be ready to enter His kingdom. I find myself asking why did I sign up for this if I knew it was going to be this hard? Life is a roller coaster of ups and downs, fun times and sad. Times of wonderful bliss and lets just say it there are times of complete craziness. Sisters, that's whats so amazing about life! No matter the trouble that we are in, no shade of darkness that comes over us, or how bad we really think it is, it will be ok! Jesus paid for our troubles. I love the saying what don't kill us makes us stronger. Well, we will go through a lot in this short time we call life. But it is for a reason. Heavenly Father wants us to learn something. Just like we want to teach our kids something new every day. That too is a battle all of its own. Life is hard, yes. Bad things happen but we need to know that it will be ok. We will overcome it. Maybe not the way we see fit. But it is His will be done. In studying the lesson from today again with my husband I found this passage to really go well with this daily message: "I daresay that in the [premortal] spirit world, when it was proposed to us to come into this probation, and pass through the experience that we are now receiving, it was not altogether pleasant and agreeable; the prospects were not so delightful in all respects as might have been desired. Yet there is no doubt that we saw and understood clearly there that, in order to accomplish our exaltation and glory, this was a necessary experience; and however disagreeable it might have appeared to us, we were willing to conform to the will of God, and consequently we are here." -Teachings of Presidents of the Church:Lorenzo Snow Chapter 7; Page 110. I will leave you with this food for thought for the evening! Check back tomorrow and see what daily message I get to share with you! Stay strong and remember to always P.U.S.H.
